Federal Government’s Decision on Summer Break

For the past two months, the whole country has been facing extremely hot and humid weather. Temperatures have been rising above 40°C, and the humidity has made it unbearable. All educational institutions have been closed for summer break.

Now, it’s time to reopen all educational institutions after the long summer break. However, on Sunday, the Federal Government decided to keep all educational institutions closed until August 4 due to the ongoing hot weather conditions.

A few days ago, the Sindh Government also issued a notification to extend the summer vacation until August 14 for the same reason.

There is still significant humidity and extreme temperatures across the country. Additionally, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PDM) has informed about the monsoon, which is expected to be more intense in the upper regions of the country from July 27 to 29.
