According to media reports, Mr. Charles Glass, a well-known American author and British journalist, was on a visit to Pakistan and sought to interview Imran Khan at Adiala Jail. After obtaining a court order, he attempted to conduct the interview, but the authorities did not permit it.
Charles Glass is a renowned journalist who has worked with many well-known media organizations and is currently working as a freelance journalist. He was seen outside Adiala Jail with Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan. Glass was staying at the residence of journalist Zahid Hussain in Islamabad when a group of policemen, accompanied by ASP Islamabad, arrived. They informed Mr. Glass that he had only five hours to leave the country. The ASP further added that he had strict orders to deport Mr. Glass.
After an hour of arguing, Mr. Glass left the country and took a flight to the Middle East.
